Inspired by Ed Ruscha's word art which blends language with the feelings of landscape and consumerism, amongst other things, this student chose to create a word art drawing out of carpet.
The words "Poop Deck" refer to her family's bar, which she remembered playing in while growing up. Being a child, she had a close view of the carpeting, which evokes many textural and olfactory memories, as you may imagine.
