This project started with students disassembling toys and putting them back, Frankenstein-like, to make what one student then titled "Abominations."

The project then evolved into photographing the creatures where they "belonged" after students created them and thought about where they might live.

Its latest iteration involves using a mechanical toy and reusing the mechanism inside for diabolical means.
